With the optional Container-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) option bundle, KnarrTek's BellHawk Software can solve a number of Picking, Packing, and Shipping problems for Warehouses.

These include:

1. Ability to quickly find and pick materials for each customer order.
2. Preventing picking mistakes.
3. Recording what materials got packed  onto each pallet or into each shipping container for use in sending advanced shipment notices and other related data to customers.
4. Generating correct labels for nested packaging containers, including GS1 compliant labels.
5. Warning materials handlers if they load orders onto the wrong truck/trailer for shipment.
6. Integration with weighing scales for automated data collection to prevent mistakes.
7. Automatically generating Bills of Lading and manifests for what materials were actually loaded onto the truck/trailer (as opposed to what should have been loaded).

Ship Orders can be directly entered into BellHawk or imported from an ERP or other system. These can then be used to generate Picking and Packing Orders, which can be used to either guide or direct the picking and packing and labeling of each customer's order. Finally the Ship Orders can be used to validate what is loaded onto each truck/trailer and, in conjunction with the captured tracking data, used to generate advanced shipment notice data and to generate Bills of Lading and manifests for each shipment.
